In life, many things do not pay off although you put in the effort. One of those things would be the polishing of boots.

Sure, you may say "U ArE DoiNG IT wronG LoLOLo Noob." But there is nothing LoLOLo Noob about this. It just ain't funny.

Spending time on boots does not necessarily result in a satisfying shine. Ok, u just wasted your time to mug maths for cct tmr to polish boots and its not shiny. You are probably pissed.

Whats worse is when the teacher in charge (won't mention his name here), or your seniors see your boots and lecture and pump you because they think u didn't polish your boots. At this time, I would think, "Screw this, i'm mugging maths next time."

But i continued polishing. So today is the last time. If at tomorrow's muster parade and uniform check, i'm nagged at again because of my boots, i'm giving up. Hooray.
